    One of the feminist must-read magazines in the world. It has hit the feminist world for more than 30 years. First appeared as a "one-shot" sample insert in New York magazine in December 1971, now Ms. Magazine has become a full-grown feminist magazine with a worldwide readership. What's most inspiring is that Ms. is a magazine in the market without commercial advertisements! It's totally financed by readers. Now Ms. has a very resourceful website, you can check out old and new issues and keep yourself updated with the world feminist wave!

    About Movements

  • About Face
    It is an activist organization against distorted and negative portrayal of women in media. It contains a resrouceful database of advertisements, which depict women both in negative and positive lights, reference and statistics for the studies of popular culture and body images. Most importantly, it recommends actions by which we can empower other woman and ourselves. (in English)

  • V-Day
    This is the official website of V-Day -- a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Born with Eve Ensler's winning play, "The Vagina Monologues", V-Day becomes a catalyst that promotes awareness; an anti-violence movement; and a performance that raises money to programs that work to end rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation (FGM) and sexual slavery. An account on its history, current worldwide campaigns, violence statistics, resources and inspirational stories from survivors, and many more could be found in this web-site. (in English)

    About Queer

  • The Queer Korean Family Project
    It is developed by a diverse group of queer Korean Americans living in the San Francisco Bay Area since early 2001. They committed to develop a culturally-relevant, bilingual resource for their parents, siblings, and themselves. Through the Project, they hope to nurture the relationships with parents and siblings by encouraging a healthy dialogue, and to educate the community about homophobia. They are working on a publication for parents and siblings who continue to struggle with their family members' queer identities. (in English)

    There is a good link page for queer websites in Asia, especially for women's sites. Other features include message board, feature articles and advice columns. (in English)

    There are links of queer women's organisations and hompages (mostly in Chinese) in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and other Asian regions. Other features include chatroom, literature, personal ad., e-card, sex talks... (in Chinese and English)

    It has a big archive of worldwide television and print ads spanning more than 30 years that reflect society's changing view of the LGBT community, with marketers' best and worst efforts from around the world. (in English)

    It contains papers and discussion about family violence in Hong kong. If you want have a brief idea about the issue, it's the best choice. (in English and Chinese)
